ARCHITECT: GUSTAVE EIFFEL (1889)

The Eiffel Tower, entrance to the 1889 World's Fair, is located on the Champ de Mars next to the Seine River.
An elevator ride to one of the observation decks is a must for beautiful views of Paris.
The structure is a wrought-iron lattice tower named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel.
